Translator is no good you must have someone who can speak Pashto. The guys were just joking around and being lighthearted.

Harry your translator is very iffy. From that clip, he was teasing you hence the laughter in the crowd. Then he’s like this entire place was recently rebuilt. It’s just been done and to take a look. And your translator is just making things up. If you’re going to deal with taliban, you’ve got to find a native Pashto speaker.

I am pashton and he was mistranslating him. He was just joking and then asking the visitor to see that building behind as it is made of expensive and unique items. He says he is a guests and show him around so he won’t get bored and upset here. The translator is mis translating as he doesn’t know pashto well.

You have to learn pashto to understand pashtun people. Pashtuns always are joking and speaking in a cheerful but respectful manner with their guests.😁

As the pashtun man ask translator to tell you that this place is rebuild from Turquoise stone and also he apologized you please don’t be sad from me but unfortunately he didn’t translate you,
