Christo, What a great day of golf! Your subscribers would not believe how solid Frank and Michael strike the ball. Beautiful swings. For those of you who missed it, the Intensive was the best golf instruction I've every had. Michael, Sr. hooked me up to Flight scope, and within 30 minutes I had picked up a club and a half on all of my irons. In our Match Play Scramble, I bombed my approach shots over the green with easy swings on the first 3 holes we played until I believed it was not a fluke, but my legs were working. Smashed a 6 iron 170 into a stiff headwind to within 7 feet of the cup. Picture perfect and effortless. From there, the swing really started to find itself.Pretty impressive watching these 145 lb. college are kids rip 3 woods 280+ (I'm not exaggerating). They never pulled out their driver. They get their right hip back and and the swing just lows. Any of you that are in Florida or will be around Tampa and want to work on the your swing, I can highly suggest you give the Cestone's a call. They are super personable, and they get right to your areas and make the proper move easily understandable. So much of what I was taught by some big name +guru+ and famous golf academies didn't work for me, and these guys also with Christo just walked up and told me get that right hip back and keep a bend in your right knee. Boom! Instant transformation. To the subscriber whio asked "can they putt"? Yes they can! Played 9 hole Match play Scramble, Micheal Jr. and I vs. Subscriber Zach and Frank. They won 2-1 and we were 7 under! Yes, they had 8 birdies and par. We used enough of my shots and putts that it wasn't brother vs. brother, but these guys can play from tee to pin.

I would like you to comment on the statement made @ 3:50: "this hip stays here etc." which to me, paints the picture of backing away slightly from the ball to create additional space. Am I misunderstanding something? I was under the impression that you rotate around the center point between your hips without moving away from the ball.

those young guys should pay more attention to what Mr. Hogan did early in his career rather than later as his early swings evolved into what it became...then his back was rotated well beyond 90 degrees and the club pointed at the ground when it was at the top

Hey young fellas, "Hogans connection to the ground was sacred and everything he said in 5 Lessons he meant" - Mike Maves Every exact piece in the set up translates into something the instinctive (thought free) body does once the motion starts, because of those exact set up positions. You can't pick and choose what you think works for you and get to Hogan. Back foot square and front foot flared to 22.5 degrees is the heart and soul of the connection to the ground where it all starts. This is non negotiable. The Hogan machine was established at address.
