Scientists Tried to Recreate Dinosaurs

Not all dinosaurs died after the asteroid impact few smaller size dinosaurs survived the Armageddon and after millions of years of evolution those small dinosaurs evolved to become today's birds. There is a theory that chickens are one of those dinosaurs Bhart-Anjan Bhullar from Yale decided to test it.

Bhullar took samples from the embryonic chickens and blocked the genes related to the beak forcing embryo to revert back to its ancestral state. The results were mind blowing. The baby chickens developed dinosaur like snouts very similar to what we've found in the fossils. Other scientists are trying to recreate other body parts especially chickens with dinosaur-like tails which opens a possibility of making new kinds of animals.
