I have just got one with the same problem. The shaft isn’t driving at all.

SO UNLIKE MOST OF THEIR TOOLS... POWER LEVEL SETTING IS CRITICAL!

Use it on 1 sparingly - in cedar. Mostly use 2 or 3. PLAY WITH IT! You may be pleasantly surprised.

Sus. You don’t try them with no load and you’re not using the same screw, who knows what you did to the first one.
