Title 42 explained: What is it, why is it ending and what's next?

Title 42, a controversial Trump-era policy that allowed for the rapid expulsion of asylum seekers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, is set to expire at midnight on Friday. 

The rule’s expiration has sparked concerns about a surge of migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border. But what is Title 42 — and why is it ending? And what happens next?

Living in America is going to become a challenge for these migrants because of the high cost of living and not enough affordable housing and most are going to work in low paying jobs that won't be enough to cover the basic living expenses

Here I am 6 months without a stable job, unemployment ran out. Struggling to pay bills on time… these people get more assistance than I have in the last 6 months on their first day in the US.
