With Title 42 ending in a matter of hours, several border cities have declared states of emergencies as they prepare for a influx of migrants crossing the border. NBC News’ Julia Ainsley reports from El Paso, Texas, on how communities along the southern border are preparing and what additional resources the federal government is offering ahead of a possible increase of migrants.

The over all crime rate has gone up for our city. I live in what is called Federal Hill area here in El Paso Texas, and some of my neighbors are both BP/ICE agents they say we here in El Paso get between 1200 to 2200 illegal's crossing everyday so 5 months times 30 days is 150 days times that by the daily crossing and you get between 180, 000 thousand people to 330, 000 people here in our city in just the first five months of this year. My wife waited her turn in line she has advanced degrees/ is a director at a local hospital she speaks English/Spanish, she paid all her fees went to all of her appointments/doctors exams...Yet these people simply show up and make demands? NO and we have had enough.
