quite interesting to say the least I never would’ve thought of an elm tree cut that thick and that easily propagated in a bag like that I mean it’s not like a ficus or anything like that it’s pretty much a hardwood cutting? Did you use any rooting hormone? Of any sore May I ask?

Great short video!! Very calming……

How thick of a cutting is it possible to get from a Chinese elm (cork bark)?

Hoi Jelle ik ben me langzaam maar zeker aan het verdiepen in de wereld van de kleine boom 😅 wat zit er in de witte beker als ik vragen mag en jou soil stel je die zelf samen of koop je dit kant en klaar ?

I've had the _hardest. time._ with rooting cuttings and germinating seeds in plastic bags; they've always molded within a couple days, and I've never understood why. Turns out the type of bag matters a lot: some are thin enough, or made of the right material, to allow oxygen to diffuse through the sealed bag while keeping water in, and I don't think either category includes my bags.

Why is such a small tree already in a bonsai pot? Wouldn’t you want to put it in a growing container first so it thickens up?
