HOW TO WIN ANY ARGUMENT- Episode #3

We cannot dispel darkness with more darkness. The problem is, as human beings, what we’ve been taught is to show up as the same energy, to meet that force with the same force; but if we think about it: we can’t defeat darkness with darkness, because you’re just getting black and black coming together and making more black.

If we want to dispel the darkness and get rid of it, if we want to bring in that light, we have to OPERATE AS light. You bring light into a dark room and darkness disappears. We can’t meet anger with anger, or hate with hate, or jealousy with jealousy; we can’t meet pride with pride or ego with ego, because you just get more of the same thing. So we have to operate from light, we have to operate from love, from compassion, from gratitude, from joy, from hope.

The only way to address fear, to address hate, to address anger, doubt, insecurity, jealousy, envy is with love. Turn on that light that is within you, and watch how the darkness disappears.

So, no, we can’t control and stop the hate in the world. No, we can’t control and stop the anger in the world, and the fighting; but we can do our part. And our part is showing up as love. Our part is showing up as these incredible beings that are capable of everything, including loving fully; showing and shining our light. THAT is what we can do.

It sounds so simple, but yet…the HARDEST thing to do in the heat of the moment: really, really stepping above those feelings, stepping above our programming, stepping above the need to be right, the need to have our ego fed, and JUST BEING LIGHT.

So when anger shows up….love. When pride shows up….love. Dispel that darkness with light, just turn it on, see what happens.

It is our responsibility as beings that know that we’re bigger than our human experience to step into that place of love, to step into that place of light and shine no matter what.
