RPM problems 1998 Honda Accord

I had a head gasket repair done on it, I had a new knock sensor installed and now the RPM's are going up and down when it idles. What is wrong with this car?

check the EGR. I had this happen on my accord. the port for the EGR clogs overtime, causing erratic idle.

If u still have this problem try getting s new pvc valve. That was my problem and it idled just as yours does in the video. Make sure u get the grommet as well if the old one is hard and damaged

if you spray or clean the throthle body, rpm will go up and down like this, but it will come to a normal til it dry

I had this issue and it was a tear or large rip in my air intake snorkel or hose. The big one from air filter to intake. I replaced then it went away. Could be other things too.

Try changing your radiator cap I had the same problem but when I switched my radiator cap it went away

that is a vacuum leak bro may be the PVC valve sticking. pull the PVC valve out if it has not already come out by its self (i had a car do this ) once you got it shake it it should rattle if not its no good hope this helps

Hello, I changed the idle actuator of my honda accord to 5 days and everything worked fine until today I called and the car had those acceleration oscillations again, I checked the car on the Scanner obd hondash and it doesn't work no error, what can i do to regulate this acceleration, is now getting between 1500 to 1800rpm with the car stopped in P or N.

O got same problem clean the iac and change pvc, and check the air trottle

check the bulve in the head of the motor i had the same problem the wires in the bulve was cut the mecanic fix the head en brok the wires

i think that the problem is the iac valve is not calibrated
