This just got my 16 week cocker to stop laying down and digging his heels - entirely of my own doing! 2x10 minute sessions and it's almost gone. So happy!

It’s really amazing how much you put in the video. Everybody else just shows the dog at the begging, then the end, and says “buy my training guide”. God bless you sir. Not all hero’s wear capes

Whenever you talk in that sweet, happy, praising voice to doggies it makes me feel all happy and fuzzy inside too- as if I am the one being rewarded! Haha! 😄

It's so great to see a training video with a less easy dog breed. There are so many videos of people showing their skills with Border Collies, Malinois and ect. But this is where your knowledge and talent has to kick in. Very useful video showing the subtle nuances training such breed and the reason behind it. Thank you for sharing it.
You mentioned that slip lead is your favourite tool. How would you compare it to a choke chain and Martingale? It would be lovely if you made a separate video about those and other training tools.

This is exactly what I was longing for to help teach my puppy to walk with me and not pull. I just ran through half a dozen other unhelpful videos. Wish I would have found you first, thanks!

Always makes me grin when big gruff Will switches to higher pitched "oh yess who da cutie baby uwu" voice. Because she is a cutie baby.

Duuude! I am so glad I lucked up and got my pup when you got Eileen. My kangal pup HATES the leash and digs in every time. I have been doing exactly what you displayed in this vid, but until I saw this video I had no idea if my approach was sound or if I was creating more problems. I have never had a dog so independent/ stubborn in regards to having a natural dislike of a leash and going for walks. Historically it's always been me teaching my dogs to stop pulling, but never to start walking lol. Thanks again!

This is exactly the example I needed to watch. I have been searching endlessly about how to get a puppy that digs her heals in the move on the slip lead. My 11 week old Springador is stubborn with digging her heals in and not moving unless she is going in the direction that she wants. So thank you. I really needed to see this today.

I just discovered your channel yesterday, and I find it one of the most informative dog-training channels I've watched! I really enjoy it, and I've already learned a few things to teach our 11th-month-old field labrador. Cheers!

We're getting a Marremano pup who was abandoned and has never been in a household before. I find that your videos are the only ones that really educate owners on the psychology of the dog and the root of behaviours and success. I feel this education is what stands your videos apart from the others and is so valuable because owners needs to be trained just as much as the dogs do! I can't wait to take the puppy course! Keep up the good work!

Im so glad you show that it isn't as quick as one or two attempts. I have 2 pups that i unfortunately and unintentionally taught horrible lead habits to. Ive been working with each every day this week using corrections and rewards. One is getting it, but the other is a bit more stubborn.

Will, You are an amazing teacher. I am not a dog person but trying to train my daughter’s dog by following you and it is working. Thanks!

makes me almost cry with relief seeing the exact same problems I'm having with my puppy (12 week bullmastif) and how to fix them. Thank you so much!

Absolutely bloody brilliant! Thank you so very much for taking us along on a realistic training session with the wonderful Eileen. Will, you have just shown us how patient we need to be AND that we need to break the desired outcome into small achievable steps. It was also magical to watch the interaction between the two of you, and how closely you watched her body language. Wow. More like this please.
