I love the approach by El_Dark_Core here. These are really fun designs and incorporate a lot of visual themes and styling I enjoy, I'll have to look at more of their stuff!


I've been thinking more lately how sometimes, emphasis on fakemon fitting pokemon's design principles can feel limiting. There's merit to designing what you would love to see... Or just what you want to make! So I like hearing Brandon point out both what they like here and where the designs break pokemon norms but also pointing out that is part of the artist's intent, and how that's okay. It's fun, and it's a creative thought exercise!

When you plant certain plants, they need to be staked. You take a long wooden stake or pole and either tie the plant to it, or you allow the plant to grow along it. Beans/peas usually need a special staking method, where you tie two or mor together for the plant to grow along. Kinda in the shape that sunkern evolution was in.

The designs are a little too... extra for me, but there are a bunch I like, and the art itself is super awesome, absolutely love the rendering on the colors and effects here, A+.

with eevee and its evolutions covering 9 of the 18 types I'd rather see them make a convergent form of eevee instead of giving it new evolutions and its base form would be flying cause it feels the most normal of the remaining types and having wings could fit some of them like dragon, bug, ghost and steel
