Here in the Okanogan Highlands, on the border at 4, 000', we have the deepest snow pack at this point in the winter that I have seen in the last 15 years. Typically, I use my side by side to plow 3-5 times before I need to use my frontend loader to push the snow berms out into the woods or over the bank to widen out the road again. Typically, I need to use the loader 2-3 times a winter to do one mile of road. I am currently pushing berms for the third time at the halfway point in the winter. Beautiful blue sky and sunshine here today. Personally, I'm looking forward to this break. : /

Heading out to lead a hike to look at waterfalls. It's perfect: sunny and dry right after a good soaking. The falls should be roarin'!

Sunshine since this morning, Willamwtte Valley was socked in when I went down to town with fog but it's creeping up the Silver Crick canyon right behind us trying to creep in. 50 degrees here now. Pleasant! Weather nerd here, too, since we have the greatest weathmean in the PNW.

As far as I’m concerned, for a La Niña season, this Winter has been a BUST!!! Have totally given up on west side snow, hoping against hope we get at least ADEQUATE snowpack for next summer….
