Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC introduced Spirit Spring seals. These seals need to be broken in order to be usable by Torrent, but they are also well hidden. However, there's a special item that can break the seals from ANYWHERE, without the need to be near them: Margit's Shackle! Melina tells you all about it!

Also, every time I enter a cave or catacomb, I swap my Spectral Steed Whistle for one of the Shackles, because they are so useful in taking out illusory walls, and tagging the flame turrets without getting torched. That’s some mighty good range 😆

It also works in that one hero grave where you have to move the pillar of light to spawn a third chariot in the main hall to destroy the other two chariots. You can just stand in the area past the basilisks and use it to immediately destroy them.
