I wish they continued the original instead of making a 2011 version. Not that thd 2011 version is horrible or anything. But I personally think it has more emotion than the 2011 version

38:29 I remember this scene so clearly. Killua wakes up from his nap and Aunt Nieto is cutting Gon’s hair. She then cuts Killua’s and tells him that his hair is soft. He feels a warm mother’s touch of emotion for a second and says “hmm this is nice” 1999 version.

En mi opinión, la adaptación de 1999 es mucho más completa y compleja, las emociones y la música iban súper conectadas. Veías la serie y daban ganas de entrenar para convertirte en cazador. La adaptación del 2011 está muy bien lograda y conecta con audiencias más actuales, sólo que en muchos aspectos considero que la de 1999 es superior, siendo el doblaje latino un elemento que jugó un papel importante en su buena recepción en América Latina.

Thanks for this great compilation ! I love the 1999 version and its music so much, there is something so unique about them that makes me feel many different emotions that I experienced in no other soundtrack/anime.
You also nailed the illustration images, some of them are perfectly fitting to the songs atmosphere.

You have no idea how thankful I am to you for putting all of these together!! I’m a true fan and one of the very few who own the rare 1999 series on dvd. I purchased it factory sealed many years ago and have probably only used it 4 times. I treat them like 24kt gold. Love every bit of these OSTs you put together!! Thanks!
