Those wacky Harkonnens. Them and their goose-stepping armies.

Can you do the other harkonnen scenes? The yellow subtitles seem to show what they’re saying in their language

Ah, the desperately misunderstood Harkonens and their visionary leader, the Baron- peace be upon his name.

Sure, some would say that many were killed on Arakis due to the forceful discipline imposed by this mighty House. However, how many more were killed in the galaxy due to the Shihad lead by the Evil Paul Atreides and his vile Fremen!

Only now, after the slaughter is done and the galaxy has fallen, can we truly appreciate the vision of the great Baron. For he alone forsaw the calamity that House Atreides was to cast upon humanity.

But as ever, history is not written by the victims but by the victors!

The corrupt Corino still linger, a pox on their house for the treachery they fell upon our beloved Baron.

Feyd Rautha would have made a better Emperor than Paul! Doubtless more would have survived his rise to power and even greater numbers blessed by the flow of spice from Arakis.

House Harkonen, Fallen but never Faded!

CORRECTION:
At 0:10 the transcription of what the announcer says is “Agun ne-Baun Feyd-Rautha”, this is an incorrect transcription. The correct one is “Agun ne-Barun Feyd-Rautha”, the word “baron” in Harkonnen is pronounced as “barun” not “baun”, I missed the R sound.

I wonder. If Feyd won the duel against Paul, would he marry Irulan? If yes, how would their relationship be? Abusive? Or similar to how Joffrey behaved against Margaery in GOT?

You know, based on the Arena scene, I think it might be 'Barun', with the 'r' kind of pronounced like it is in German.

I wish we got another throating singing scene. This announcer will do though.

The Pla... word clearly has Plat- at the beginning likely derived from Planet (because they are saying "Planetary Governor"). I hear it as Platfi Gamaz den Arrakis. The -fi/vi ending is likely derivational (from Planet to Planetary). Considering German is likely a strong inspiration behind Harkonnen, the den/zen is most likely a genitive article translating to "of the" followed by Arrakis. He is also saying ne-Barun (na-Baron) not ne-Baun, though the type of reduction you imply can be found elsewhere in how they pronounce Harkonnen in Harkonnen. In the arena scene, they render "Baron Vladimir Harkonnen" as "Baruun Vladiimi(r) Harquiyɨ(n)."

Feyd Rautha was everything a Harkonnen should be. Cold, remorseless, and a full-blown predator. And that kiss...

... I'm telling you, Villanueve did him DIRTY!

I am SO GLAD he became Baron cause that was a missed opportunity for him. It's a shame he got killed off earlier (though I can't help but wonder if it was serviceable for Dune Messiah).
