UPDATE - (2020) water wicking 5-gallon bucket growing system video revisiting how we put them together and answering some viewer questions from this original video.
In this episode, we update on a few of our urban garden boxes, and we discuss and build a water-wicking 5-gallon bucket. The ones we will be using on the rooftop to grow a large portion of our peppers. Let's Get Growing!
Net Pots that I purchased.
Full List of Supplies:
2 - Five gallon (food grade) buckets.
1 - 3 inch Net Pot
1 - 2 foot, 1/2 inch PVC tube, cut at a 45 degree angle at one end.
1 - zip tie
1 - 7/8 drill bit
1 - 3 inch hole saw bit
Safety Glasses...
Other than the drill bits, just multiply the other supplies for as many bucket systems as you need.
