You Haven’t seen a Recip Saw Test like this! Flex 24 volt Vs Metabo Hpt 36 volt

Reciprocating saw versus video. The flex 24 volt brushless reciprocating saw Vs the metabo hpt 36 volt. Extreme testing. We cut through the hardest material. Pressure treated 6x6 and 4x4 post’s. LVL ( laminated veneered lumber ). 2x6 with 1/2 inch rebar and 16 penny nails. We cut through 1/4 inch angle iron and concrete cinder block as well. The blades used are the metabo hpt 9 inch general purpose, the flex 9 inch nail embedded wood, the Milwaukee ax carbide pruning blade, the Milwaukee wrecker carbide blade, and some 6 inch masonry blades with aggressive tooth patterns. You don’t want to miss this! Batteries used are the metabo hpt 2.5 and 4 ah and the flex 2.5, 5, and 10 ah stacked lithium for comparison. We push these saws to the edge. I have that Flex sawzall about a year now nowhere and never used it once because I have being doing all new installs. I think I will take it out for a little fun on the jobsite tomorrow.

That Metabo HPT is a monster. It didn't do that well in masonry but most people I've met doesn't use their recip saws for that purpose. I don't have a masonry blade on mine either but may get one in the future to see how it goes, though.

Metabo Recip is a monster I know one of the reps in my area personally, did a fence for him actually and he let us try out some Metabo tools over our Milwaukee trailer, I was impressed but honestly came down to warranty when I decided to upgrade to a newer brand and Flex has the best warranty atm out of all the brands considered.
