Nothing is winding down for this Switch in terms of games, they will keep coming for years because most first party games (including tons of remasters to come) belong here and will look fine for over 100 million players. I hope both consoles will be using one cartridge so the library isn't divided. If third parties don't want to support both, so be it.

Idk about a direct, but there is a pokemon presents happening this month. Maybe there'll be a surprise announcement of something pokemon related to come out this year

We'll I wouldn't expect anything Metroid at this direct unless they have a HD Remaster of Metroid Prime 2 Echoes or a HD port of Metroid Samus Returns for the Switch under raps.

I wanna see Echoes Remastered so bad at the standard of Prime 1 Remastered. Too many drab, gray, straight-edged rocky surfaces and the sky in Dark Aether is often just a wall of a single color. I wanna see gorgeous, starry dark-blue-and-purple skies and gorgeous, haunting blood-red skies, plus textured surfaces on both worlds.

Give me a Switch port of Yoshi's Woolly World, & I'll be satisfied! And, if we do wind up getting one Kirby game for the Switch, I hope it's a Switch port of Kirby Planet Robobot. Celestial Of The Stars does sound fun, but I would rather have a Switch port of Planet Robobot instead.
