I've got 2 tips for You Sinvicta
1: try to place as many tiles (mostly try placing lanterns and battlefields) near campfire to not allow spawning boss extra dmg tiles (they grant 5% hp and dmg for him)
2: if You think that You can't defeat the boss - get to the campfire, and then run away with ALL Your loot (battle will only start when You decide to stay after You get to the campfire)

@Sinvicta You're able to retreat after you get back to camp. Once you loop back to camp after the boss spawns you can leave with all of your loot, or stay and fight the boss and continue the next loop.

My strategy: The option "Automatically pause in the end of the loop" turn on, and this will actually help you retreat all of your resources before starting the boss fight.

I love the rng in this game gives a lot of content to enjoy (or rage) Hopefully they do occasionally updates!

My fav. stack of stats: attack speed + magic dmg = most enemies die before their second attack. Only stacking attack speed is just quick way to die IMO.
There is one fun build also. High evasion + skill that makes you counter after evasion (I think it was about 50% chance to counter)

you can maximize your treasuries by leaving a 1 tile wide gap between them until you get another
Edit: also for my favorite stat, regen was really good for me earlygame
Edit2: I may be just making things up but it seems like magic damage does more than it says against non-"alive" mobs.
