"Cheers" & "Frasier", two of best sitcoms ever.

This was my Father's favorite TV show. We used to eat dinner in the living room, watching Cheers. I wanted to thank the cast for all those years of laughs with my Father. He's not longer with us and seeing this show reminds me of him.

It's a show you can watch over and over again and never get tired of it. Brilliant show.

What made Cheers, Frasier, Mash and Moonlighting my favourite comedies of all time was that they never pandered to the audience. It was quality writing and acting all the time and they held to a standard, and I did not get all the jokes all of the time. With those shows, I found the clever jokes with a mix of double entendre refreshing, and the ones that not everybody would get, the funniest.

What great sitcoms and writing we had in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

Thursday nights...1984-1985
8:00 The Cosby Show
8:30 Family Ties
9:00 Cheers
9:30 Night Court
10:00 Hill Street Blues

That was probably one of the best primetime TV lineups in history.
(In theTop 3 in my opinion)

After the series finale, I watched the reruns, then I watched on VHS, bought the dvd box, watched the dvds. I've watched Cheers at least 15x now. It never gets old, the cast is like family, I laugh with them, cry with them

😢 Norm and Cliff were a superb comedy duo. I'm going to binge watch it soon.

Cheers and Mash are the only two shows that brought tears to my eyes while watching the last episode.

This show is so well done that you can close your eyes and listen...it's an old time radio show that just happened to be on camera.

Remember in Toronto they aired the Cheers series finale in the Skydome (Rogers Centre) and it was sold out. That stadium held approx 41, 400 the year Cheers ended. Love that show! 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸
