This is a timelapse interval guide designed to show you how to timelapse professionally. First of all we will not be using timelapse video and speeding them up in post. Instead I will show you how to timelapse taking stills and later on editing them in Premiere Pro. Regarding gear, you do not need a timelapse camera or timelapse calculator as I will go over the timelapse settings needed to create the perfect time lapse properly.

I plan on making a day to night timelapse tutorial in the future as well as tutorials on hyperlapse and timelapse vs hyperlapse videos. Please stay tuned for that.

I also plan on making timelapse post production tutorials using Adobe After effects and Premiere pro. This how to time lapse tutorial can be used for landscape photography as well as street and night photography.

Thanks for such an informative video! Any tips for how to handle post-processing timelapses shot in RAW? I have a fairly powerful computer, but it can't seem to find an efficient way to edit the photos and compile them. What does your post-processing flow look like?

How you adjust ur exposure shooting with a manual lens if you are doing DAY TO NIGHT time ? Thanks in advance .. i cant find the video you mention here that you will make later

One question regarding the issue of flickering, I'm a bit afraid of using the lens twist method (lens getting loose / dust getting inside / electronic short) I have a canon 16-35 f/2.8 lens normally I focus manually or use auto-focus and then flip the switch to manual, will flickering still happen even in MF ?. Great tutorial, thanks for your explanations really helped have a better understanding :)
