For the longest time I considered going in to Music/Music Production since it's my first passion and I'm extremely good at it due to my perfect pitch and instinct for music, but I ended up going for my second passion, computer science, since I know I will be more successful in it. Good point on the low level demand issue. Instrumentation/ automation demand is unreal... can be tough to land the 1st job. 2 yr degree to enter wages slightly lower than engineering

Can do more tradesmen and non-bachelor and careers in medical (sleep, neurology, imaging, informatics, cardiology) energy, manufacturering, Drafting/Computer aided Design/mufacturing/engineering, additve manufacuring, printing industries, research/R&D, life sciece/biotechnology sectors. Also careers like document analyst/specialist, autonomic tech.

Looks like you got these salary ranges from Glassdoor, which as of late is clearly inflated. Notice how the "additional pay" is half or more for these jobs. There's no way most jobs have compensation structured like that. Also by comparing it to numbers from own employer (major auto OEM) I can confirm the "additional pay" is vastly inflated.

Imagine thinking you're going to make anywhere near 100, 000 in one month with no prior experience. That is just not how the world works. Using extreme outlier examples is very misleading.
