At that point of time it was meaningless for him to become the King of Asgard. He looks around and there is nobody around he knows personally. He lost his parents his brother and all his Asgardian friends there is basically no one to see him becoming king and to feel proud about him. 😢😢😢

Thor and Loki’s entire thing was for the throne of Asgard, but then after Loki is dead Thor just gives it away

Lol, is father ruled Asgard without Mjornir. His sister ruled Asgard without Mjornir And his father told him, Mjornir is use to channel his power.

Hmm it make me think with the hammer, Capt should of been on par with Thanos.

Vision could carry it because he is not human. He is a AI robot so that is why he could carry it in a scene. You also can see the hammer resting on a coat rack so everything that is nonhuman can hold it.
