The fact that Zeus admits he's not the perfect king of the gods is so damn refreshing to hear from him and yet they removed it and replaced it with whatever the hell we got

this version of Zeus also made him look very strong and reliable compared to weak final version of him.

This scene is interesting since it explains how Thor was able to give thunder powers to all of those kids, since electricity is everywhere.

This Zeus is infinitly better than the one they used.

HOW CAN A DELETED SCENE BE BETTER THAN THE ENTIRE MOVIE

This would have made so much more sense. All they had to do was make Hercules jealous of Zeus mentoring Thor to motivate him to pick a fight for the next movie.

"Zues is not pure" that one line sums up his entire mythohistory

The fact that this scene was replaced by that fight scene in the movie just boggles my mind. This explains why the thunderbolt was important to the plot -- it would actually take them to Gorr. In the movie, they're just like "Thunderbolt is strong so let us borrow it". Also, this movie desperately needed more quiet, dramatic scenes like this, rather than the overabundance of messy CGI fights that we got.

This scene had a heartfelt conversation and gave a lot of character to Zues, which is why Taika took it out

As Christian Bale himself said the 4hr cut was much better and darker then original.

This makes me wish Zeus was more like a mentor for Thor, no need to make it super serious, keep his personality like in the movie.

Im feeling this scene more than what we got, they properly made Zeus a right dickhead but he seems okay here.

WHY ON MIDGARD DID THEY NOT GO THIS ROUTE?!?!?!? This looks like an infinitely better movie than what we got.

Now this scene should've never been deleted. This could've gave a reason why Hercules would want to fight Thor.

"Power is everywhere." Hmm, this line would have tied in well with the captured Asgardian children. If power is everywhere, then power is in them too. Give them the spark, and they can use it.

This is a very different take to the Zeus we get in the movie.
It's more serious and not a villain.
The heck happened.

This 2 min scene developed zeus more than the film itself

Damn. Why couldn't we have had this scene/Zeus in the movie.

when the deleted scene is better than the movie itself:

This kind of thing just demonstrates that, these days, they just make it up as they go along. This is a totally different story.
