How to Browse and Open Folders and Files with Google Chrome

So I'm not alone in doing this 🤣🤣 - I'm trying to take this to another level... I reference a lot of tutorial pdf file and folders this way. I there a way to format the INDEX VIEW result? ie Index of C:\Users| view; change font, columns etc so my system is totally browser based for this need?

I am still struggling to find out the way to create a sort of link so when I want to access file, I just embbed that link on calender etc so just get to the file ASAP moreover it opens in window application like in case of pdf it opens in adobe acrobate

In Windows 10, it is easier to just drag a folder from Windows Explorer to a new tab in Chrome.

Google made simple things really complicated! All that... just to OPEN a file! The old menu bar at the top was far better. This is ridiculous. The designers, with their fragmented mind of coding imagine that everyone thinks into bits. I don't.
