Ukraine: Anti-war protestors gather across world

Support for Ukraine amid a Russian invasion has prompted protests around the world including in Los Angeles, London and Sydney.

The crisis has roiled the globe since Russian President Vladimir Putin, in the pre-dawn hours of Moscow on Thursday, announced in a televised address that he was launching a military operation against Ukraine.

International backlash followed swiftly, with sanctions by the United States and a host of other countries. Biden said the new economic measures would "limit Russia's ability to do business in dollars, euros, pounds and yen to be part of the global economy."

it's really funny to see how they portait putin as hitler and compare russia to nazis, meanwhile the slogan used all across ukraine (slava ukraine, heroiam slava), which was also present on some of these demos was literally used by nazi collaborators, who murdered over 100 thousand of innocent civilians during ww2 (and who are considered heroes by the ukrainian parliament), some people really need to learn history

Should the ongoing protest around the world regarding/against the war in Ukraine be given credence? Yes! However in retrospect, what stop those very protesters from coming out in their thousands around the world to protest constantly during the invasion of Iraq, Libya, Palestine etc. The very collateral damage you are now witnessing in Ukraine in which innocent women and children are dying existed during the invasion of Iraq, Libya, Palestine etc. Let us stop being selective in our sympathy towards humanity. May God stop the war and restore everlasting peace to Ukraine and the world at large, Amen!
