The omnichord is such a cool instrument. It’s only been around 1981. Many artists including Bjork, Katy Perry, Cindi Lauper, Dixie Chicks and Arcade Fire use it in their music. It has a touch plate known as "Sonic Strings", preset rhythms, auto-bass line functionality, and buttons for major, minor, and 7th chords. It’s so cool to me. Makes an excellent instrument in music therapy where they typically piggy-back on IEP goals.

My son is 5 years old and has been diagnosed with autism. He is nonverbal, and he tends to make similar faces to the ones this young kid makes. Oh and thanks to YouTube he very much enjoys farm animals, the alphabet and all the numbers as well as being able to pronounce some words and sounds.
