I tried this technique today and the design went on the dish just like it showed. My problem was when I put on the underglaze and tried to wipe it off. The clay wiped out some of the design and smeared it. I see now that I needed to add and remove the underglaze in stages. I covered the whole design before wiping it off.
This technique is a game changer….I can’t draw. Thank you
