I have a generic question, does damping help in reducing cabin noise? Specifically on highways where we face a lot of tyre and air noise?
Are there any downsides of damping? What happens if you park your car in sun after damping. Does the adhesive melt? Does it smell bad inside the cabin?
Is it safe to get bonnet damping done as that would be a very hot area while going on highways.

The car india was waiting for... fabulous design architecture and excellent road presence.. it's already a hit with indian consumers even before it's actual sell👍

One month back, and this is true, a 12, 000 ltr water tank ~30% full due to rust and gushes of wind fell from the 8th floor on top of a Tata Nexon parked and there were 2 children and 2 adults inside.
Tank was in bits, water everywhere. It was so loud everyone rushed downstairs. Everyone in the Car was fine. The rear roof rail caved in, the rear window glass shattered, some bits punctured the bonnet. Listen to this, no one had a scratch.
People were sitting thanking God. I saw the aftermath and said, thanks Tata for putting more high strength steel in more places than everyone. Any other car it was certain death.
The grandfather who had gone up to get spectacles came back and he looked at the scene, he said, everyone is fine, car can be fixed or bought again. The car actually did start also.. next day Tata service guys took it and 2 weeks in it is back like new.
