When I was a wee lad I felt I had a calling to serve the Church. I knew I didn’t want to become a priest since even at a young age I knew I wanted to have kids someday. Then I found out about the Swiss Guard. They paraded around in cool uniforms wielding halberds and uzis. That was going to be my path in life. Then I found out you had to be Swiss to join and just like that my dreams were shattered.

I'm not really religious but I always almost tear up when I hear this song. Those men were so brave. They knew they had no chance, but gave their lives just to buy the Pope some time.
