remove your handles and turn them to the outside. They are shipped that way to save room, but it's a lot more convenient to face them out, like a hand truck. Good video. Your time is appreciated.

I had one for years and used it on my '30 Model A to do the frame and such. Get yourself a helper to shake the bottle of it periodically as you use it, and it will keep working just fine without any clogs. Get a deadman's nozzle at HF and it will work even better than the setup for this unit, too. The unit is heavy, especially when filled with media, but it works just fine for its intended purpose. I have a new one of these from HF, but have not opened it up or used it just yet. Weather here is too cold and wet to use outside just yet. I have used my own sand when we lived in 29 Palms in the middle of the desert there. Sifted it myself and reused it when I needed to. That was really cheap to use there.

I sandblasted my entire Chevy. Went through two sandblasters.I prefer the 125 pound Granger. It has a pan like a sink to fill it up.
the media eats the hose tips and the three way mixing valve. The lever valves wear out also. Clemco sandblast hood is highly recommended.
My second sandblasteer was a Harbor freight and I changed over all the pipes and everything i just used the same Granger pot.
Keep the sand dry. If it has moisture lay it on a tarp and dry it.
Never use wire brushes that can find their way into the media.
Get a screen. I used a dollar store wire screen for the sand.one big particle can make it a long day.
Get a spare tank for air storage. The bigger the better. Its not necessarily the compressor but the volume of air.
Try to get together a enclosed space. The more sand you can reuse the better.
Just play sand is good. It does crush but it still does the job.
I went through about a ton of masonry sand. Dusty off course.
Hence the clemco hood.
You have to have a oil free compressor for the hood. Ir a good filter.
It can be done. I did it.
Have fun. M

What do you recommend cleaning the blasted areas with afterwards? After cleaning, do you recommend epoxy primer or direct to metal for best rust inhibitor before primer?

Ha I’ve seen another video like this and yours and now I know why mine isn’t working right. My instructions make it seem like you fill up the tank and then turn off the tap. So here I am using the air in the portable tank and of course it loses pressure in no time and my media wasn’t coming out. Bloody Chinese instructions. Was thinking I had bought a lemon. Cheers
