If you were unaware of it, those handles are turned backwards for the sake of packing more compactly. The nuts and bolts will likely work better once you turn those red handles on it around so that you can then move the unit like you would a dolly. If you have someone else help by shaking the tank periodically, then the sand or media used really does not plug up or stop in the flow near as often. You can also remove the supplied nozzle and run the unit without it, and it will do the job just as well without having to chronically replace the ceramic nozzles. Look at the gun supplied with that gray plastic sandblaster sold at HF and you can see that it does not have anything besides the 0 ring and the metal nozzle to it. If you had one of the gray ones, you could easily swap out the metal handle for the one used on your red sandblaster, and it would work very well with less issues. These units are good as to the price they charge from them. Most complaints in the replies at HF about them are based mostly upon user error and not because the machine failed.

They didn't use aluminum fasteners and the handles are backwards...
