The one inch punch was made famous by Bruce Lee. It's a powerful close ranged punch from 1 inch away. The main difference between the one inch punch and the iron fist punch is the travel distance. A normal punch is 6-12 inches away from the target. Bruce Lee was able to knock down opponents twice his size with his 1 inch punch.

This is the first guy on this channel I’ve seen that actually didn’t pull his hand back a foot before punching. Truly a 1inch punch

I notice a lot of people forget proper punching techniques when doing the one inch punch you should start with your hand with your thumb facing the ceiling as you collapse your fingertips you should still turn over your wrist so your palm faces down and open your punching side hip into the strike. In any punch even the one inch punch your power does not come from your upper body. It is merely understanding how to transfer kinetic energy through your body and to follow through the board.

the difference between him and everyone else is he knows how to generate power with his legs

Finally. Someone who did it correctly! Not moving their arm nearly a foot back then punching! This is a great one inch punch! Props to this man

Finally someone who actually knows how to do a one inch punch. He did pull back a little bit on the last one, but still 100% credit to him

You know if you look closely when they do actually make it they seem to be standing closer to the board. A pretty common concept with getting more power in combat sports is imagining that your punching through the object rather than aiming to break the object. If you stand closer to the board you have more follow through this higher chance to break the board

He was able to keep a slight bend at his elbow, and he pushed his weight towards the board. That made it easier for him to break the final board.
