new studies show that cirrhosis may also be reversible as long as the cause is eliminated. It just takes a really long time for it to heal.

I'm lost on something. You said that Steatosis is the result of less fatty acid oxidation due defective PPAR but what causes the PPAR to become defective?

Cirrhosis is not irreversible. It's just that reversal is rare, because people don't eat the diet required

I think calling cirrhosis irreversible is an exaggeration. First of all it's not all scar tissue so regular liver tissue would still regenerate. I think what's more likely happening is that in Alcoholic liver disease, the liver dies due to iron accumulation (eg Hepatic iron overload in alcoholic liver disease: why does it occur and what is its role in pathogenesis?), so the irreversibleness (doesn't get better after stopping alcohol) is simply the pound of iron sitting there, which of course couod be reversed with chelation bloodletting etc.

I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) and Liver disease in which I have tried all I could with medical prescription all to no avail.february 1999 and had my left kidney removed at that time. It was determined that no other treatment was needed. This was an incidental finding, seen on an ultrasound to check my gall bladder - I had no signs or symptoms from this tumor. I was followed for 6 years and was deemed cured.

As an enthusiast of Ayurvedic products, I find Yakrit Plihantak Churna to be a well-balanced blend. It has contributed to my overall sense of wellness, particularly in terms of liver health.

Recently I had some lab tests done. My abnormal results are :
Lymphs (Absolute) 3.3, Carbon dioxide 31, AST 64, ALT 57, WBC Esterase Abnormal trace, Occult blood Abnormal Trace, Triglycerides 177, Iron Bind.Cap.(TIBC) 508, UIBC 463, Iron saturation Alert low 9.
Since currently I don’t have health insurance, I can’t go to a doctor right away. If you could at least tell me how concerning it might be, I’ll either get health insurance or fly back to my home country for treatment. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

hormone sensitive lipase in vasculature breaks down TG to free fatty acids, then go into hepatocytes to become energy and AcetylCoa or TG

Wonder if you can help? I was under the impression that hormone-sensitive lipase was in the adipocytes and hepatocytes? Whilst Lipoprotein lipase is found within the blood vessels?
