Alcoholic liver diseases in young people surge

Doctors are seeing a new trend of alcohol-related illnesses in young adults, particularly women. Nearly a quarter of Americans who die from alcoholic liver disease each year are in their 20s, 30s and 40s. Nancy Chen takes a look.

There is, a stigma that associates alcoholism with men. Very important to talk about it, as it impacts women and men, anyone. For as much fun as people have when drinking, there's too much negative drawbacks when a person becomes an alcoholic. Alcoholics do not seem to realize they are alcoholics until it is too late, they are too far gone. The reality is, No You can NOT handle your liquor. Encouragement offered to anyone that more people might try a new routine, different activities, form new groups of friends with other interests, change their lifestyle/their choices, choose not to drink alcohol at all or so often.
