1. The extravagance of the royal family which lead to the neglect of the people
2. Poverty and starvation
3. Extreme shortage of bread and grain shortage
4. France became massively indebted due to their military support for the American Revolution
5. The King failed to control the power of the national guard
6. The king failed to organize the parliament
7. The king failed to collect taxes from the wealthy class
7. The king’s refusal to abdicate his throne

In order to direct the Revolutionary movement in France, the so called newspapers L'Humanite was founded.
For this purpose a subscription was opened that brought in 780.000 France.
The names of the contributors and for that the men who controlled it were all jays:

L. Dreyfus, El Rodriguez, Leon Picard, Blum, Rouff, Kasevitz, Salmon, Reinach and Sachs.

1) Peasants seemed to be supportive of the monarchy. The educated bourgeoisie fueled the French Revolution.
2) The French upper class sounds exactly like the Democratic Party in the US today. Clueless, completely detached from real life struggles, and hopelessly chasing after the trendiest causes.
