Funny fact: Keishi Otomo (3:49) was the scriptwriter and film director of the 5 Rurouni Kenshin live action movies.
They wish they could make a Rurouni Kenshin DLC related with battousai, even more now with the remake of the anime being made.

Just a heads-up: you can customise your player character completely including playing as a female main character. For some reason the official marketing refuses to mention this (just like Team Ninja did with Wo Long and Ni-Oh 2) but previews from other sources have confirmed it.

The things that appeal to me most about this game is the mix of traditional Japanese and Western architecture, and also being able to use katanas and firearms. These are things we don't see too often in gaming.

People who aren’t familiar with team ninja and are looking in from an outside perspective just don’t seem to understand how addicting their games are. As the developer mentioned how consumed he was by nioh 2, and fan of that game understands what he means. It could not stop playing nioh 2 I reached the end game twice
