Ford Transit 6R80 Transmission Fluid Replacement

The transmission in the modern Ford Transits is one nasty beast to service, the factory refers to it as a "Lifetime Transmission" if I have it right. That's BS of course, so this video is simply me showing how I accomplished small amounts of fluid replacement in my driveway. You do this enough and eventually you're close to replacing just about all of it

I got 5 out. Even poured out and measured again cause seemed like a lot. Put 5 back in

Have you heard this one? Save your old fluid and should you have trans issues with the new fluid, remove the new fluid and replace with the old fluid. Then again, I pre-fill my oil filters the day before the oil change to saturate the element and minimize oil restriction throughout.

Engine has to be running to read dipstick, and don't count on Ford to have proper level from factory
