How to crochet mini bag for beginners

While sitting here working 3rd shift at a retirement assisted living home, and being a crocheter for 16 years now, It never ceases to amaze me at just how much I am still learning!!!😮 I put down the yarn 🧶 and needles 🪡 for a long time just due to life itself & now I am just getting back into the groove of crocheting. I see a lot of videos on social media that inspire me deeply and that I appreciate dearly but one thing I've learned is you most definitely have to have PATIENCE. If you have little to no patience, I suggest another hobby because you will have to have PATIENCE for crocheting! Most definitely! But after you gain patience and time, you'll begin to be addicted. Crocheting is also a game changer for people with ADHD like me. It's something to focus on. "MY" PERSONAL problem is that I get all into it and then I'll get distracted wanting to do something else and start a whole new project without finishing the last one. I know I'm not alone here😊 but it's easy easy to do! Believe me. I ♥️ pray 🙏 I can stay focused long enough just to finish this bag ❤ but I am working on this as we speak and I will post this on my social media outlets. And I will let everyone know I watched this video for my first mini bag! I did not have a 3 mm but I am using a 3-3.125 MM needle, a random small one out of My collection and it is working pretty good! I suggest a tiny skinny yarn for this as well. You can't use a small needle with thick yarn that is for sure! The yarn 🧶🪡you used is beautiful with the multi colors. I am using a plain mint green color for this project tonight. I loved this but would have preferred it If you slowed down at the important parts, such as the turn. I personally found it a little difficult to see which stitch you were going into. Yes I did slow it down and stop etc. but found it distracting to keep going from my piece to the screen. I am fairly new but want so badly to make this lovely bag for my 1st. Great Grandchild.. Love it all.

hi! wanted to thank you for this tutorial, the project is very cute and also very easy. i know nothing about crochetting but i was able to follow easily the video and i did two mini bags... the thing is that while doing the first one i got distracted while making the "body" of the bag, so is a little bit bigger than the one in the video. the second one i tried making is very small. i was about to finish a roll of yarn but i didn't know what to use it for so i tried using this project just changing the base to 7 chains then following the rest of the tutorial. it came out very small but enough to put in my earplugs' case in it AHAHAH

I DID IT!!!! Tweeked it a bit and turned it into a pouch for my AirPods- I used this sort of stretchy twine so it fit perfectly. Other thing I changed was the handles, I chained 11 and made them slightly long without the layer of single chain - so it looks like a mini tote bag - BUT FOR MY AIRPODS!!

Too cute. 😭🤍

Cute pattern! Relaxing video. I just get so frustrated when a written pattern isn't included. I have to watch and write it down myself. I don't want to be glued to my screen when crocheting. It's just a sincere plea to add written instructions.
