Adding a compressor and a limiter is beneficial for real voice processing, but the problem is that it flattens any dynamics in the natural voice amplitude, which is something AI TTS models already struggle with. So, it makes the voice sound better but less realistic and expressive.

Thank you, with this newfound knowledge I can make AI song covers sound SO much better. Now the only problem left I have is how sometimes the AI can make the S sounds a bit too strong.
