So silly of me. I have watched everything about this movie scores of times but am drawn to watching every new clip as if it were my first.

I never realised how awkward he was lol
I love seeing him making efforts to win Elizabeth over by doing what she reproaches him not to. He sure is a keeper… how can we not love him?

She was only 19 at the time of filming. What a talent.

I love what he says in that particular romantic way: "You have bewitched me body and soul and I love, I love, I love you...I never wish to be parted from you from this day on" though these words are not in the original novel

I wish they made a longer version of it, to protray everything in the novel, these 2 are amazing together

Both Matthew and Keira have depicted the roles of Darcy and Elizabeth of the novel 'Pride and Prejudice' so realistically.

I have watched all of the classical versions of this story but this one is my favorite! Mathew McFaddyn IS Mr Darcy! His countence, size and that voice! OMG! That voice is so beautiful! I'm so in love with him!

This is my comfort movie now. When I need something to play while I work in the house or what ever. I have seen it enough that I hear it and love it, but I can continue to work without staring at the TV.

That part at 4:41 is the cutest part. How Mr Darcy tries to speak but he is so awkward

I was reading through the comments for the longest time but had failed to encounter one that greatly complemented the choice of music/songs used in this movie. So let me be the first. Such great songs that matched perfectly with each scene where they were played. Made me fall deeper in love with this movie that I just could not get tired of watching..., and sometimes just listening to it with my eyes closed. Has anyone felt and done the same?

The church scene… where their eyes meet for a split second there…. So powerful❤️

One of my favorite scenes which I rarely hear anyone mention . . . . . Mr. Bingley giggling at Lizzie . . . . . . "a fearsome thing to behold!" Of course, the PIVOTAL scene in the movie for Lizzie, I believe. I love the shocked look on her face as she looks back at Mr. Darcy. I think there is a change in her heart which causes her to pause, then soften, then . . . .

I have other favorites.. North And South (BBC 2004), Sense and Sensibility (1995 and 2008)… Downton Abbey and The Gilded Age of course but this Lizzy and Darcy version is just head and shoulders above the rest. Saw it repeatedly at the theaters back then and will still repeat watch it at least twice a year lol!
