I dont know about anyone else but I'm impressed, any saw that pull straight thru a 40" dry walnut log is impressive, I dont care if its chinese made or American that's a strong saw

Uncle Cy, just came across your site today after watching some chain saw u-tube videos. You rock and that machine is a monster. I think i saw a 42" bar and chain on there as well. Greetings from Ireland and the UK

I tune while cutting hard in a log. I set the dogs and load the saw one handed, tuning the high speed jet till it pulls as hard as it can.

I I know the strands are so long because he’s cutting with the grain but God damn you can tell Who ever sharpened that chain knows what the hell they’re doing

I have 2 of them and on for parts put a stihl bar on it sprocket nose. Youll see a big difference. And. You have to pump that oil pump by hand. They do cut well for milling

Thanks for doing a 1 year review rather then a 1 month review

Great Video! I have a MS660 clone that I do lots of cutting with but finally pulled the trigger on the new generation of the YZ105 excited to run it through its paces.

Sounds good in the cut but I would bump the governor spring up one notch and set your idle up just a little bit. Nice saw though.

No lugging power, pretty much looks like you just gotta let it float. It needs rpm, I'd get frustrated waiting on that thing, but you definitely know how to sharpen a chain. It would definitely do better with a smaller bar.

Wow! Walnut? Man that is the hardest pull you can make a saw do. The resistance of those noodles is extreme. Big power! Good video 👍.

I own a tree business and have been in business for 10 years now. I have always used Stihl saws until 7 months ago when I started buying the blue ones. I have now purchased 5 Farmertech blue chainsaw. 660, 366, 388, 440, and a 072. The 660 was the first one I bought, it still runs great in fact I used it with a 52” bar on 7-19-19 and it cuts great with it. The same day I used the 072 with a 59” bar and it also cuts great. The 388 out of the box cut great but now it want start a long with the 444, it won’t start either and never has. The 366 ran a short time but now runs terrible. The reason I’m posting this is for two reasons. One being that my two big saws run and starts great, but all three of the small saws have not done well. The second reason is Uncle Cy could you please make a video showing how to tune the saws to run correctly and give any other suggestions about the problems that I’m having. Thanks, Steve Miller

That machine could put cross ventilation openings in both sides of a double wide outhouse.

105cc - Looks like a good saw, I want one! Your idle is set too low, seems like.

Yeah, those ripping chains actually do well on the cross cut. They will stretch though.

Beast! Is this compatible with sthil 070 parts? Looking to get one but unable to find any parts online for later down the road.

Those thick walnut slabs would make nice turning blanks! Keep up the great videos Uncle Cy!

I have a big Stihl 084av that I run for cutting Green/wet birch and doug fir. I may have to look into these when I retire the Stihl.

Hey bro, glad to see you pull out the big boy. I have the same saw and I love it. Mine is the farmertec version. I use it a few times a month. It is low rpm for sure. Great video. Can't wait to see what you make with the wood. 👍👍

Other saws are like a crotch rocket. Rely on rpm, but no tq. This monster is a semi truck. Low rpm and takes a while to build speed. But this thing is a monster.
