father passed away just over 30 days ago. 😢 Memory still fresh. He died suddenly and was truly the kindest, wisest, simplest person you ever met. He had a hard life and I will cherish and honour him as long as I live. God willing.

The man here is talking about and my father, a Soldier who saw action during the Nigerian civil war and brought up like a soldier from age 6.
I was never over protected, l was left in the wild whie he kept an eye on me, he died July 6 1993, when l was age 13, this year makes it 30 years. I am still close to his course mates, who call me his exact replica and l learnt a lot from his mistakes and inherent his strength.
This man here is a life Coach, Honour you father and be Honourable.

Allways there for my Dad 24/7, anything and I drop what I have in hands. ❤ He might been hard sometimes, but that is love.

I lost my Dad two years ago to cancer, I miss the little things like telling him how I fixed something or talking about a film that's coming out. I think it's true about a mentor I often feel older men are looked down upon buy young guys but the old guys have lived a life and can help you fix stuff as they have real life experience. Never underestimate the grey dog.

Thank you for this. My father is unsuccessful in life. Not happy. Not healthy. Not wealthy. But he has a good heart. It’s hard to respect someone who disrespects others and me and isn’t doing well in life. But he’s my father. And I choose to believe that if I respect him as my father and a patriarch that it will benefit me. And I’d also like to be treated the same. Thank you for the advice

I Love my Dad more than anything in the world. He died last May, but we had such a good relationship, which makes me sad but I'm glad we shared that. Love your Fathers, guys. When they're gone, only then you can say you're a Man and can bear his Name.

Him saying. " Live your life, as though your Father is dead ". That carries so much weight with me. I didn't, and I haven't, and at 54, it has crippled me. My Father was/is a very wealthy and powerful person. I have always lived in his shadows .

"take them into the wild and protect them as needed" that's gotta be the best phrasing I've ever heard to describe being protective versus over protective
