I really thought I was never going to win the battle against anxiety. I remember vividly one night where my heart is just so tired from crying and feeling fearful from anxiety attacks. I really thought I was beyond rescue. Yes I did. But the Father's love changed me. His love overflowed and poured so abundantly in my life. In all of my anxiety attacks, He has never been absent. He always appeared by my side to calm my anxious heart. People always describe me as a shy girl who doesn't really talk, a girl who is always fearful and has stage fright. I could never stand in front of a crowd to speak. Could not even do a simple sharing or self introduction. Today, I am leading worship in the children's ministry. God changed and transformed my life completely. This is my testimony. To those who are struggling in your mental health, God will never give up on you. You belong in the Father's house and His love will change you. Beloved child of His, be patient with yourself just as how God is patient with you. He is never in a rush. He is not a God bounded by time. Be it how many years, He is not in a rush and He is not weary of you. Hold His hand and walk again beloved child of His, you are made for so much more !! We serve an amazing God and you are safe in His Hands. Hallelujah.

Praise the Lord! I was a prodigal daughter at one time. I’ll never forget walking through the church doors feeling an extremely heavy weight on my shoulders and a lump in my throat. I intended to walk to my seat but I heard a voice that said I’m here with open arms. The love and pull I felt lead me straight to the alter. The closer I got, the bigger the tears, and the embrace from my heavenly father is unforgettable. My arms automatically raised. That was the BEST Welcome Home I’d ever felt in my life. There was no shame, no “I’m mad at you”, no “how could you after all you know”, only Here I am, give it to me, and I’ve got you now. It was a full father’s loving embrace.
I remember thinking the next day, I no longer hear the bomb ticking ready to blow. I only saw God’s mighty wing covering me and feeling safe.
That was 29 years ago. I give God the honor and praise!

I was sitting here studying, reading a Bible study and have the the revelation of old self and new self. Understanding that the old man I leave behind still tossed me with thoughts of old sin nature but that body no longer exist it died when I gave my life to Christ and now my body knowing it's a temple of God is always in their father's house! I no longer am a slave to my old ways because I don't live there anymore! And while I was thinking this this song came to mind and although I get that is talking about being in God's Church walking through those doors and shame doesn't belong there also speaks to our new teacher in Christ who we are we're not that old man we are new creatures in Christ we are always in the father's house shame don't live here anymore we don't live in the old man we are at home with Christ best.
