The filament inside the bulb breaks causing it to burn out, violent impact or shaking can cause the suspended broken filament to again make contact. It will be brighter and not last long.

An illegal ass U-turn but not worth risking people's lives and property for. If you're that upset just submit his license plate to the non-emergency number and move on, he wouldn't have had a damaged car that way

People who U-turn tend not to pay attention to what they’re doing per every dashcam video I see on YouTube. It’s illegal in many states and for good reason. But that doesn’t justify anything that happened.

Sooo why couldn't David pull left out of that parking lot and sit in the middle turn lane till he had a good shot to go? that would eliminate the u turn. the story makes no sense.
