Good video also the term level is primarily for objects that are in a horizontal position
For vertical objects such as your post the word plumb would better describe your work like ok that is good now my post is plumb.

I found there are levels call 'post and pipe levels" that are small, have corners and straps on. No more holding levels. 👍

Is it ok to throw in some metal mesh or rebar like you would in a mixed cement post?

I use regular bags of concrete and put one shovel of calcium chloride into the mix and it kicks in about 20 mins. Much cheaper. It’s about 30bucks for for 50 pounds of calcium chloride (comes in granules like road salt)

Is two bags sufficient for a 6ft 4x4 post? According to the concrete bag, as well as some people, they are suggesting 4 bags which seems like overkill/insane to me.

Wouldn't the post be more stable with mixed concrete in the hole then setting the post?
That way concrete gets in the center of the post too.
You could even raise the pipe to the hight you want.
