She once randomly showed up at a commoners wedding. They sent her an invitation, and can you imagine their shock when she showed up?!?!

She is noted for her humor. My favorite story about her wit is this: at an event with several young ladies, to one girl's horror, her cellphone began to ring. Humiliated, she tried to ignore it. HM told her, "You'd better answer that, dear. It might be someone important!"

Her Majesty does have a sense of humor

Prince Charles: "Your Majesty... Mummy..."
The Queen: bruh

Her face when Prince Charles called her "Mummy"... PRICELESS.

That scene with Martin Mcguinness was a classic. He was an IRA man for decades so when she answered “still alive”, the meaning was ‘despite the best efforts of you bastards to murder me!’

FYI Prince Phillip didn't dress up as a Guard to prank the Queen, he wore his uniform as he held the position of Colonel of the regiment for the Grenadier Guards for decades.

The Queen is NOT addressed as "Her Royal Highness", which is used for other members of The Royal Family. As Sovereign, she is addressed as "Her Majesty".

Such an incredibly witty, unbothered, beautiful Queen. I have nothing but absolute respect for her and her incredibly long, well led reign.

She's lovely. Back in the 80s I was part of a small group of singers chosen to sing at the opening of our local community centre. The Queen and Prince Philip had come to the town for three engagements that day: the Shire Horse Show, the opening of the new theatre (or it might have been the new law courts - one of those two anyway) and our community centre. The community centre was on two levels and we were on a balcony overlooking the ground floor inside. In the room, behind us, was a small group of instrumentalists who were accompanying us. We duly sang our songs while the Royals walked around below us and every so often we caught a glimpse of them as they inspected the new centre and chatted with the invited guests. Then, all of a sudden, the musicians stopped playing. We were all very confused but we found the reason when we looked back into the room. There, in the doorway, were the Queen and Prince Philip! Although we were behind the musicians and therefore didn't get to chat to them we could hear what they were saying (Philip asked one of the violinists "and what's the name of your group?"). We were all very touched because, despite their tight schedule, they had made the effort to walk up the stairs to see us and we were treated to a glorious smile and a wave from the Queen as they left.

Got to love Liz. BTW, she's NOT a Bond girl, she's Bond's Boss.

Yes Queen Elizabeth II, is an amazing, incredible, gracefulness person. Although she experienced alot of difficulties. She remains vigilant and exceptionally strong. An example for all to follow... GOD keep her strong and healthy... I can't imagine the Royal family without her...

I think it is starting to sink in for all of us, as she has gotten older, she has become so endearing to all the world. When she passes, the entire world will feel the loss of her, as it has no one else before. I already feeling it; as I don't think she will want to stay very long without her Philip.
Stay as long as you want or as little as you want your majesty.

Not a single mention of her unforseen and epic gate crashing of the BBC newsroom studio during a live lunchtime broadcast. That was hilariously priceless and most definitely upstaged Prince Charles' weather forecast. 🤣
