Ingredients:

For the Sausages
5 - 6 medium banger sausages (You can use the sausage of your choice.)
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Mashed
2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed (You can use the potatoes of your choice.)
1 tablespoon unsalted butter (Use more if necessary.)
2 tablespoons milk (Use more if you want them creamier.)
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Onion Gravy
1 medium red onion, cut into slices (You can use yellow or the onion of your choice.)
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1⁄2 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons all purpose flour

Sausage Selection: Opt for budget-friendly sausages such as pork or chicken sausages. You can choose your favorite flavor, whether it's plain, herbed, or spicy. Just ensure they are fully cooked sausages, as we'll be smothering them in a sauce.

Thank you sir. The two best things about this video (aside from the sausages) are that you love pepper and that you make make your mashed for people with teeth. If I live to be 90 then I will happily enjoy mashed potatoes that I can slurp through a straw but until then I want some texture and yours were perfect! Just picked up bangers on Friday at FB. Added them to a meat sauce w/meatballs that I had made earlier inthe week. Truly and perfect example of a home cooked meal that didn't make you stay in the kitchen all day. Appreciate your time put in to create, film, edit and upload for all of us.

Oh my gosh so yummy! Oh and the darker the color the better the flavor.. it's something about that richness and cooking it a little longer to achieve that color I think.

Dave, great recipe, this is a staple Irish meal also( the Irish smash the peas with a fork), absolute yes on us & the girls, they like peas, not as much as brocolli, lol, but they like them, keep your stick on the ice pal
