When my mom was pregnant with me, she and my dad got a kitten, and called her "Kitty Queen". She was our family's Queen for 20 1/2 years. Near the end, her meow was more like a scratchy croak, and when you pet her you could feel every bone in her spine, yet she seemed comfortable, and content. What a great cat I got to spend my first 20.5 years with!
