Capabilities such as the Maritime Security Unmanned Surface Vessel (MARSEC USV) enhances the RSN’s ability to protect Singapore's territorial waters and respond to expanded maritime security threats.

Visiting the Flotilla at Tuas Naval Base yesterday, Senior Minister of State for Defence Mr Heng Chee How sailed on board the Sentinel-class Maritime Security and Response Vessel (MSRV), MSRV Guardian and witnessed demonstrations by the MSRV and the MARSEC USV. He also got to see how the #Navy Medical Service provided medical support to ensure the RSN was able to deploy safely for operations and exercises, while contributing in the nation’s effort to fight COVID-19.
